Michael assisted us with 3D imaging for our project. We had a complicated build as we were renovating a 200 year old cottage on a riverside with a large extension. The primary reason I approached Michael is because I was struggling to work off the 2D plans and decide what should go where, the kitchen, living space, where the kitchen island should be located etc. Michael’s 3D work gave us insights to be able to make important decisions. It gave us the ability to imagine what the space would look like and tweak as we wished. I really do not think the space would have turned out the way it did, had it not been for Michael’s work.
We are so happy with our new home and Michael’s work helped us create the space we always dreamed of. As the plan progressed, Michael’s work became more and more invaluable. Once the layout of the space was decided upon, we had then to decide on a colour scheme and materials. Again, Michael’s images allowed us to try different colours and materials to help us decide what look and feel we wanted. I was afraid of making mistakes with the colour scheme, however, Michael’s work gave me much comfort and the beauty of it was the ability to go back over the images time and time again if I was unsure of a decision I was about to make.
I also found myself revisiting Michael’s work even after the main project had been completed. In fact I am still finding, as we are still choosing furniture and soft furnishings, that I still review Michael’s work for guidance. This has been the biggest surprise to me. I did not think from the outset that I would get so much value from his work.
On a personal level, Michael is very personable and very generous with his time. Michael’s attention to detail is impeccable and really shows in his work. I was impressed with the professional approach and that as the project progressed, I was kept in the loop, without having to be chasing up all the time. When the original design had to be amended due to utility cables that were hidden till the space was cleared. They came back with an alternative design layout, that still met my initial objective, and didn’t add too much to the costs.

When we purchased the townhouse were were unsure how to go about the renovation. Thanks to Michael’s ideas and design solutions we were given the courage to remove walls and open up the ground floor which let a lot more light in and really opened up the space. The open thread staircase works superbly and the design feature trellis’ are a great talking point. Expanding the bathroom and fitting both a bath and shower has worked well now that we have the little one.
