OUR PROCESS

PHASE 1: CONSULTATION

Welcome to the first step in bringing your dream home to life.

Our process begins with an in-person consultation and site inspection at your property. During this visit, we’ll gather all relevant insights, carefully listening to your vision and unique requirements.
We will then develop a comprehensive Design Brief, ensuring that every detail aligns with your expectations. Based on this brief, you’ll receive a clear, detailed Design Fee estimate, allowing you to move forward with confidence.

PHASE 2: SURVEY (If applicable)

To ensure precision and accuracy, we arrange a detailed site survey and measurement session.
Our team will meticulously document and photograph the space, noting all key features and objects. This critical step ensures that every aspect of your project is built on solid, reliable data.

On some projects, clients already have floor plans and elevations or architectural drawings that we can then use to develop the new designs.

PHASE 3: CONCEPT DESIGN

With a deep understanding of your vision, we begin developing creative concept designs and layouts for the specified areas.
Our 3D model renders will allow you to visualize the designs in stunning detail. We research the best materials, fixtures, and finishes to bring your ideas to life, preparing concept photo renders and project documents for review.
Throughout this phase, we will collaborate closely with you, presenting design solutions and ensuring we’re on the right path toward creating the home of your dreams.

Depending on the project, we might include Phase 5 in this section if you are quite clear on what you require or if it is deemed more efficient to visit retailers in advance to source specific materials. This can sometimes be the case when designing bathrooms or kitchens.

PHASE 4: DESIGN DETAILING

Once the final designs are agreed upon, we move into the Design Detailing phase. Here, we prepare detailed elevations and plan drawings to guide contractors during construction.
Where necessary, we’ll provide electrical and plumbing drawings, ensuring every technical detail is accounted for with precision.

PHASE 5: RESOURCING & SPECIFYING

With the design finalized, we shift our focus to sourcing the perfect materials, finishes, and furnishings.
From selecting the ideal paint colors to sourcing tiles and furniture, we prepare comprehensive schedules to keep everything on track. Every element of the project will be detailed, documented, and shared with contractors to ensure seamless execution.

PHASE 6: PROJECT SUPERVISION & ADMINISTRATION

At this stage, you are equipped with everything you need to begin your project. Whether you choose to manage it independently or engage us for additional support, we remain available to ensure success.

If you opt for our auxiliary assistance, we will:

Provide on-site monitoring with detailed progress updates and reports
Coordinate between contractors and yourself to ensure smooth communication
Manage orders for necessary items such as furniture and fittings
Oversee color selections on-site for consistency
Conduct a final fitting and snag inspection
Ensure a successful project sign-off

From experience, some clients engage a separate Project manager for large development projects and we can work in tandem with them to achieve success.
