A project we are working on presently is a private study in wood panels and parquet solid wood flooring. We thought it might be interesting to show you some of the Work in Progress. First off the room was skimmed in plaster, following that the shadow gaps (the small gaps between the panels) were drawn out from plan on the walls. Then a template of each piece was measured and cut. The pieces were then installed to measure. Currently the decorator has been sanding down the panels and applying varnish. He will then complete the painting of the shadow gaps in the colour you see. We hope to present the final result soon so stay tuned.
