Even though we are more mobile than ever with our technology, when possible and as a great addition to any home, to have a dedicated space for reading, reviewing, writing and dealing with home or office management matters in a place with less distractions is a ‘must’.
As part of the HG project, what was previously part of the entrance hallway has been converted to a small home office space with an outstanding view down the canals.
A key part to this design and what should be considered in all interior design when using a parquet, herringbone or chevron design floor: to design in a border around this feature floor to give it that complimenting and finished look. Too often the contemporary use of classical herringbone is left floating without a true finished border.
