Here we see what it looks like in a typical ceiling. This is a dropped bathroom ceiling. The plastic grey ducting is part of a Heat recovery system that will utilise the excess heat generated in this room and recycle it to the rest of the house. Once the plasterboard is fitted to the wooden timber frame to cover over what you see, a cap vent will be installed and attached to the circular part. Additionally, you see all the electrical wiring, some of which will connect the light fittings to the outside switches and then return to the fuse board.
