If you are not fortunate to have space for an external or connected room walk-in wardrobe then where to store your clothing and other items is essential. Well planned storage makes for better living and convenience and can afford you even more storage by proper planning and creating shelving and storage solutions suitable to your lifestyle.
A great solution for when space is limited is to have sliding doors fitted. These can be designed in different ways – from full mirror to partial mirror to wood or even paint finishes depending on your personal preference and design style.

Some clients prefer hinged doors when it is feasible. These can give great opportunity to create a minimalist and vertical feature either with door hardware or without.

WINDOW TREATMENTS:
There are so many options when it comes to window treatments in a bedroom. Some people prefer less clutter and fuss, others adore the luxury of heavy lined curtains. Again it is a choice that must be considered in line with the design style you are seeking to achieve.

Another great option that adds softness and can offer solutions for inward opening windows is a Roman blind.
BEDS:
Beds come in various forms. From the lift-up ottoman with storage below, to the common divan. In many cases we recommend the bed frame style with or without headboard as this offers an additional design feature to any room.

Sometimes we are not designing a conventional room and therefore unique solutions are required in order that the central bed can take best advantage of the rooms orientation.

Further options include bespoke fabric headboards that offer great opportunity to blend your colour scheme seamlessly with your preferred palette.
In short term let accommodation it can be useful to have a sliding split upholstered headboard for zip & link mattresses to turn a double bed into two singles

SOFT FURNISHINGS:
The essential element to complete that perfect bedroom
Choosing colour is only part of the design solution. The fabric and texture is also a major part of the experience. Above – the weaved bed throw compliments the soft grey cushions and captures a hint of the yellow details on the central feature cushion
The look and feel to the touch are imperative for creating that luxurious experience
WALL TREATMENTS
Paint is always a good solution to ad some atmosphere – but if you really want to add that unique and luxurious aspect then due consideration should be given to the wall treatments. Adding an element of interest, softening the overall effect and creating that considered look.
Unique silk formed wall coverings which catch light and add texture to the bedroom area. They also offer a soft touch to the wall area and make a statement in themselves.
