The Electric Vehicle Apartment Charger Grant is designed to assist residents and owners of apartments and other multi-unit developments in installing home chargers for their Electric Vehicles (EVs). This grant caters to those who are not covered by existing grants. It supports bulk installations of chargers at a single location and covers costs related to cabling, infrastructure, labor, and construction.
Eligible applicants include Owners’ Management Companies, housing bodies, local authorities, commercial entities, and private landlords. Funding for the apartment charger grant scheme is provided by Zero Emission Vehicles Ireland (ZEVI), which operates within the Department of Transport.
